The firewood factory is working.

With the 2 mobile firewood factories up and running we have new opening days for firewood collection.

Wednesday 10:00 until 18:00 and Thursday 10:00 until 16:00. There is no need to contact us to attend. The shop is open.

As if by magic, it's 2024. Happy New Year!

Lots of new stuff, or rather, stuff we used to do prior to lockdowns, is restarting. The only thing not restarting is peripatetic Forest School delivery. None of us has had a sick day since we stopped working in schools.

Splitting of products, activities and events.

Sustainable woodland products have been grouped together and given their own work flow. Activities and Events have been split and given their own work flow. There is some overlap, for instance Christmas Trees are a product and Christmas Tree selection and collection are activities.

Holiday clubs have been deleted for unaccompanied children and we have returned to family or adult and child oriented sessions that, rather than being a single session of trying to fit everything in, have become part of our outdoor learning journey where skills are built up, layer upon layer. An example of this is bread making on open fires. We have to start with fire making, safety and uses of different fire lays.

It's 2023 and this website is under review and changes are being made.

Due to a sudden and rapid growth in business the website is in work, being expanded, which means from time to time, even with the best testing, we will break it on some browsers. We apologise in advance. Normal service will be resumed as soon as we know what normal is.
